Southern Hemisphere Mining goes feeder hunting

Four holes down. Now for the holy grail of copper!

Southern Hemisphere Mining (ASX:SUH) is going deeper at its Llahuin Copper-Gold-Molybdenum Project in Chile, chasing the potential feeder zone behind its copper mineralisation.

Chair Mark Stowell joins Danielle Doporto to unpack the latest drilling progress, the technology helping narrow down targets, and why the company believes the copper source could hold higher grades.

Key topics discussed:

  • Ferro South progress: Four holes completed before drilling shifted to a deeper target
  • Finding the feeder: How copper isotope analysis and specialist targeting techniques are helping guide drilling towards the potential source of mineralisation
  • What’s next: Deep drilling underway, with the first batch of assays expected in late November 2026

About the guest and company:
Mark Stowell is chair of Southern Hemisphere Mining, an Australian-listed mineral exploration company advancing copper, gold, molybdenum, and manganese projects in Chile. Its flagship Llahuin Copper-Gold-Molybdenum Project is the focus of an ongoing exploration campaign targeting extensions to known mineralisation and potentially higher-grade copper zones at depth. The company’s portfolio also includes the Los Pumas Manganese Project.
