Altoro Metals strikes ‘high-grade’ zinc beyond Novales resource

Join us as we report on Altoro Metals (ASX:ARO) and its Novales Project in northern Spain, following ‘high-grade’ zinc results from the historic Emilia mine.

Key topics discussed:

  • ‘High-grade’ zinc at Emilia: First modern underground drilling returns 5m at almost 14% zinc, including 1m exceeding 25% zinc, outside the existing Novales resource
  • A broader zinc trend: Emilia sits just over 2km from Altoro’s San José mine, along the Novales-Udías mineralised trend, which stretches approximately 12km. The company aims to consolidate several historic mines into one larger project
  • Strategic location and market conditions: The project is located 9km from the Reocín zinc deposit and within trucking distance of a Glencore-owned zinc smelter, as zinc prices approach US$4,000 ($5,724) per tonne amid tightening global mine supply

About the guest and company:
Altoro Metals is a zinc-focused resources company developing the advanced-stage Novales Project in Spain’s Basque-Cantabrian Basin, with infrastructure and community support already in place.
