Evergold Minerals (ASX:EG1) has completed its 2026 aircore drilling program at the Mt Monger Gold Project in Western Australia.
The 262-hole campaign, spanning 6,357m, has identified four drill-defined gold prospects: Paladin, Hickman’s Find, Gladiator, and Vanguard.
The company’s regional aircore program tested an intrusion-related gold model beyond the Duchess of York prospect within Mt Monger, with first-pass drilling intersecting gold at three new targets.
At Paladin, hole MM26AC0172 returned 10m @ 0.31 grams per tonne gold (Au) from 48m to end of hole, including 8m @ 0.38g/t Au from 48m.
Hickman’s Find delivered 3m @ 0.37g/t Au from 36m, while Gladiator returned 8m @ 0.29g/t Au from 12m.
These results follow the initial Vanguard zone discovery, which returned 19m @ 0.86g/t Au from 28m, including 4m @ 2.37g/t Au from 40m.
Director Glenn Grayson says the aircore program was designed to test Evergold’s view that the geological framework established at Duchess of York is “repeated elsewhere” across Mt Monger.
“The final results support that view,” Grayson says.
“Importantly, these are shallow, broad-spaced first-pass results. The grades are modest, but they tell us the intrusions we targeted carry gold.”
Evergold has commenced scoping-level metallurgical test work on Duchess of York mineralisation through Independent Metallurgical Operations, with recovery results expected within four weeks.
Resource definition reverse circulation drilling at Duchess of York will commence in early November 2026, with an 8,000m program also following up Vanguard and Kiaki Soaks.
The company is targeting a maiden mineral resource estimate at Duchess of York in early 2027.
Evergold Minerals is an Australian explorer focused on discovering and developing gold assets across Australia.
