Copper One Resources (CSE:CEXY) has visually identified native copper at about 40m downhole in RED-26-02. The hole forms part of a 2,400m diamond drilling program at the company’s wholly owned Redonda Copper-Molybdenum Project in British Columbia, Canada.
The observation is based on a visual inspection of drill core and has not been confirmed through laboratory analysis. Copper One has not estimated a copper grade from the visual identification.
RED-26-02 has advanced beyond 270m and is planned to reach about 500m at an inclination of −55°.
Copper One says the observed geological features and visual mineralisation are consistent with the targeted porphyry copper-molybdenum system.
President and CEO David Greenway says drilling continues to test the southern extension, geometry, and continuity of the system.
“Importantly, these observations occur within a broader interval where geological features consistent with the targeted porphyry copper-molybdenum system have been observed beginning at approximately 20m downhole,” Greenway says.
“Visual observations are preliminary, and we look forward to reporting laboratory results as they are received and reviewed.”

The program is testing targets identified by combining historical exploration records, airborne geophysical data, field mapping, and geological interpretation.
Copper One has appointed Paradigm Drilling to conduct the campaign using a track-mounted diamond drill capable of testing targets at depths exceeding 600m.
The company is also mapping and sampling an exposure along a historical logging road east of the main mineralised trend. Analytical results will help determine whether the area becomes an additional drill target.
Redonda comprises nine mineral claims covering about 2,746 hectares on West Redonda Island in BC’s Vancouver Mining Division.
Exploration has been conducted at the property since the late 1960s. Teck Resources (NYSE:TECK) completed nine diamond holes totalling 1,681m at Redonda in 1979.
The project is located within the Coast Suture Zone between the Wrangellia Terrane and Coast Plutonic Complex. Copper One interprets the property as hosting an underexplored porphyry copper-molybdenum system.
The company says it is working with the Klahoose First Nation during the 2026 campaign. It has engaged a Klahoose member to undertake core splitting and is using a Klahoose crew boat for marine transport.
Elsewhere in its portfolio, Copper One is seeking to acquire the Sport Project in Utah, US, through its proposed acquisition of Rooinek Mining. Initial surface sampling returned rock grab assays of up to 1.15% copper, as previously reported.
Copper One is a Vancouver-based explorer advancing the Majuba Hill Copper-Silver-Gold Project in Nevada, US, and Redonda in BC, Canada. It also holds an option to earn up to 100% of the Redhill Property in BC.
