American Tungsten (CSE:TUNG) has reported ‘significant’ tungsten-silver results at the IMA Mine Project in Lemhi County, Idaho.
Assays have been received from selected results from four drillholes, highlights include 31 feet grading 0.48% tungsten trioxide and 1.84 ounces per tonne silver, 11.1 feet grading 1.08% WO3 and 2.05 ounces per tonne silver, and 16.3 feet grading 0.54% WO3 and 1.79 ounces per tonne silver.
CEO Ali Haji says the “strong grades” results will identify a silver system to manage profitability.
“With this momentum, the next major step is advancing metallurgy to move the project toward development,” Haji says.
The company says all holes intersected a number of minor veins and network of infiltrated metasedimentary host rocks.
With phase one drilling ongoing, American Tungsten plans to drill an additional seven holes with a total of about 792.48m.
Meanwhile, a second drill rig on zero level will be mobilised on, drilling up to 20 holes and will begin about 10,000 feet from other locations.
American Tungsten is a Canadian exploration company, focused on the advancement of ‘high-grade’ magnetite mineral properties, with projects located in the US and Canada.
