NevGold pushes beyond Limo Butte resource

NevGold (TSX-V:NAU) has intersected oxide antimonygold mineralisation more than 100m beyond the existing resource block model at its Limousine Butte Project in Nevada, US.

The first three holes from a planned 20,000m program all returned mineralisation outside the block model released in July, while remaining within the resource pit shell.

Hole LB26-003 returned 3m @ 1.16% antimony (Sb) from 41.1m within 50.3m @ 1.38 grams per tonne gold equivalent (AuEq) from surface. The broader interval graded 0.31% Sb and 0.19g/t Au.

LB26-002 intersected 6.1m @ 3.94g/t AuEq from 192m, including 0.95% Sb and 0.25g/t Au, within 65.5m @ 1.04g/t AuEq from 161.5m.

The third hole, LB26-001, returned 3m @ 3.30g/t AuEq from 230.1m, grading 2.39g/t Au and 0.23% Sb, within a broader 45.7m mineralised interval.

Reported intervals are downhole lengths, with true widths estimated at 70–90%.

CEO Brandon Bonifacio says the results indicate the resource remains open to expansion.

“The first three holes of the 2026 program all intercepted significant antimony-gold mineralisation with antimony and gold grades consistently higher than the grades in the mineral resource estimate,” Bonifacio says.

Drilling has focused on the Bullet Zone and Armory Fault area along the eastern side of the Resurrection Ridge resource.

NevGold says the holes encountered mineralisation in blocks previously classified as unmineralised within the pit shell, providing scope to convert material modelled as waste in a future resource update.

Gold equivalent calculations assume prices of US$3,000 ($4179.48) per ounce for gold and US$40,000 per tonne for antimony, alongside recoveries of 80% and 75%, respectively.

The Canadian explorer has completed 28 holes during the 2026 campaign, with assays pending for 25. Metallurgical test work, a preliminary economic assessment, and engineering studies are also underway.
