Siren Gold (ASX:SNG) has recorded ‘bonanza’ gold and antimony grades at surface at the Langdons prospect in the South Island of New Zealand.
Grades of up to 506 grams per tonne Au and 9.3% Sb at the Langdons prospect were intercepted.
The $11.26 million market capitalisation company conducted a maiden fieldwork program at Langdons, which contains several ‘high-grade’ Au-Sb reefs, that were mined historically with a recovered grade of 60g/t Au.
Early reported historical mining grades at Langon were up to 2,610g/t Au and 1,120g/t silver (Ag).
Siren Gold Executive Chairman Brian Rodan says these results confirm ‘high-grade’ gold and antimony mineralisation at the prospect and importantly, complement the existing ‘high-grade’ gold and antimony resource at its Auld Creek Project.
“This fieldwork confirms Langdon has the potential to be a second high-grade gold and antimony project at Reefton and demonstrates the significant potential of antimony and gold mineralisation throughout the entire Reeftone field.”
The company now plans to conduct structural mapping to identify location and orientation of the anticline hinge, as well as continue field mapping and rock chip sampling to uncover additional mineralisation.

A passive seismic survey over the Paparoa godlfield’s coal measures to confirm the depth to the Greenland Group basement and the amount of cover, as well as an Ionic Leach soil geochemistry survey over the Paparoa coal measures to uncover buried mineralisation.
Siren Gold is a gold explorer focused on its 1,100km-square tenement package with numerous ‘high-grade’ gold mines in the Reefton and Lyell Goldfields and the Sams Creek porphyry dyke.
As of 30 September 2023, the company had $1.635 million cash and cash equivalents at hand, according to its latest quarterly report.
