SAGA Metals rolls out more drill assays for Radar’s resource

SAGA Metals (TSX-V:SAGA) reports additional assay results from its ongoing maiden mineral resource estimate diamond drill program at the Trapper zone within the Radar Titanium-Vanadium-Iron Project in Canada.

Three diamond drill holes delivered consistent broad intercepts of oxide mineralisation. SAGA says the results demonstrate consistency in grade and widths across the oxide mineralisation, underscoring the growing potential for a sizeable resource.

Key intercepts include 118m @ 39.10% iron oxide (Fe2O3), 5.32% titanium dioxide (TiO2), and 0.269% vanadium pentoxide (V2O5); 55.2m @ 32.77% Fe2O3, 4.67% TiO2, and 0.176% V2O5; and 17.5m @ 23.48% Fe2O3, 4.31% TiO2, and 0.252% V2O5.

“These intercepts effectively link the two massive units and further firm up the geological model that underpins our maiden mineral resource estimate,” Director Michael Garagan says.

SAGA’s core cutting team has finalised the cutting, sampling, and shipping of 699 samples. Laboratories have received the samples and are starting the analytical process. Results are anticipated within the next week.

Strengthening advisory team

The company has also appointed Tim Mizuno to its board of advisors. Mizuno, who has more than 20 years of experience in the sector, will provide strategic guidance to SAGA as it advances its portfolio of assets toward the next stages of technical development and commercialisation.

CEO Mike Stier says Mizuno’s combination of commercial and strategic experience will help the company advance its projects.

“Tim has successfully guided companies through critical stages of growth, from project evaluation and financing to market development and commercialisation,” Stier says.

“His insights will strengthen our long-term strategy as demand for secure North American supplies of critical minerals continues to grow.”

The Trapper zone forms part of an oxide corridor that includes the Falcon and Hawkeye zones, collectively covering 29km2.

The Radar Project, comprising 690 mineral claims, sits in southeastern Labrador, Canada. The property entirely encloses the Dykes River Intrusive Complex and is accessible year-round.

SAGA Metals is a North American explorer and developer focused on a suite of critical minerals.
