Raptor delivers ‘high-grade’ pXRF results at Silverjack

Raptor Metals (ASX:RAP) reports ‘high-grade’ portable X-ray fluorescence (pXRF) results from rock chip sampling at its Silverjack and Headway prospects in New Brunswick, Canada.

The company collected seven rock chip samples during a field reconnaissance trip across the two prospects within the Bathurst Mining Camp. The pXRF analysis returned indicative readings of up to 14.92% copper (Cu), 2,153 grams per tonne silver (Ag), 17.04% zinc (Zn), and 15.29% lead (Pb).

At Silverjack, six mullock samples from historical workings returned the ‘strongest’ results. Sample SJRC06 returned 10.76% Cu, 2,153g/t Ag, 8.61% Zn, and 15.29% Pb, while SJRC03 recorded 14.92% Cu, 1.26% Zn, and 2.37% Pb.

Managing Director Brett Wallace says the results provide evidence of polymetallic mineralisation ahead of the company’s planned maiden drilling program.

“At Silverjack, the scale of the copper, silver, zinc and lead readings across several samples is consistent with the polymetallic nature of the historically mined deposit,” Wallace remarks.

Silverjack is part of Raptor’s 45km2 Coyote Project and is interpreted as a manto-style copper-silver-zinc-lead deposit hosted within carbonate units. Historical exploration reported bulk samples of 17 tonnes @ 10.2% Cu and 1,447g/t Ag, and 6.5 tonnes @ 4.8% Cu and 1,110g/t Ag.

At the Headway prospect within the 36km2 Foghorn Project, a single outcrop sample returned 0.39% Cu, 192g/t Ag, 17.04% Zn, and 5.86% Pb. The prospect sits 3.8km from the historic Brunswick No. 12 mine and is interpreted as a volcanogenic massive sulphide system.

Wallace says the new field data will be incorporated into ongoing geological interpretation and exploration targeting across both projects.

The company plans to commence maiden drilling at Silverjack in mid-November 2026. The program aims to test and validate historical exploration results and improve geological understanding of the mineralised system.

Laboratory assay results for all rock chip samples will be reported when received from ALS.
