Onyx Gold (TSX‑V:ONYX) reports assay results from nine drill holes at the Argus Gold System within its Munro‑Croesus Project in Ontario, Canada.
Hole MC26‑340 returned 1.7 grams per tonne gold (Au) over 67m at the Argus Main zone, including 4.1g/t Au over 24.5m and 13.2g/t Au over 6m, with visible gold grading 73.4g/t Au over 1.0m.
Hole MC26‑329 returned 0.7g/t Au over 144.5m, including 1.1g/t Au over 75m and 2.1g/t Au over 21.3m approximately 150m down‑dip from the ‘high‑grade’ intersection.
The results define a ‘higher‑grade’ plunging zone at Argus Main within a broader gold mineralisation envelope. A similar relationship is observed at Argus North, located 600m to the west.
CEO Brock Colterjohn says the results provide another important piece of the emerging picture at the Argus Gold System.
“Hole 340 is one of the strongest higher-grade intersections we have drilled at Argus Main to date and provides another important piece of the emerging picture at the Argus Gold System,” Colterjohn adds.
“Within 67m grading 1.7g/t Au, we are seeing 24.5m at 4.1g/t Au and 6m at 13.2g/t Au, including visible gold grading 73.4g/t Au over 1m.”
At Argus West, six drill holes extended the known mineralised corridor approximately 100m west‑southwest, with anomalous gold intersected to approximately 300m vertical depth.
The Argus system demonstrates gold mineralisation across approximately 1.4km of strike and more than 700m vertically, remaining open along strike, at depth, and down‑plunge.
Onyx Gold continues its fully funded 110,000m exploration program at Munro‑Croesus, with 206 drill holes totalling approximately 82,700m completed to date. Four rigs currently operate, with approximately 27,300m remaining.
The Munro‑Croesus Project is located 75km east of Timmins and covers 112km2 within major gold‑bearing structural breaks, including the past‑producing Croesus Gold Mine.
