Pivotal Metals Belleterre Project in Québec, Canada

Pivotal expands copper-nickel footprint at Belleterre

Pivotal Metals (ASX:PVT) has secured an option to acquire the Bambino Project in Québec, consolidating control over a 6km trend of ‘high‑grade’ copper‑nickel‑platinum group metal occurrences.

The 57‑claim, 3,320‑hectare property surrounds the company’s existing Delphi Patry and Zullo occurrences at Belleterre. This has created a unified package across what Pivotal describes as a ‘string of pearls’ of mineralised magmatic sulphide targets.

Historical drilling across the trend has returned significant intercepts including 21.1m @ 2.5% copper (Cu), 1.7% nickel (Ni), and 2.7g/t PGE from 29m at Midrim, and 25.6m @ 1.8% Cu, 1.4% Ni, and 1.7g/t PGE from 48m at Alotta.

Within the newly acquired Bambino area, previous exploration identified 17.5m @ 0.86% Cu, 0.52% Ni, and 0.53g/t PGE from 38m at Delphi‑Patry, with individual results up to 6.77% Cu and 9.73% Ni.

The Zullo occurrence returned 0.15m @ 3.4% Cu and 1.4g/t Au from 47.1m, though it has not been drilled since 1987.

Managing Director Ivan Fairhall says Bambino expands the company’s control of a ‘regional‑scale mineralising system’ that has demonstrated ‘very high’ copper, nickel, and precious metals grades.

“We see important vectors for new discovery: abundant gabbro with known intense and active mineralising systems, and structural features often associated with sulphide deposition,” Fairhall says.

“This further consolidates our strategic greenstone belt position and allows us to systematically evaluate and test the entire horizon.”

The acquisition consolidates ownership across a trend where historical exploration was fragmented and concentrated around known outcropping discoveries, leaving systematic exploration between and beyond these areas limited.

Pivotal will acquire 100% of Bambino through staged payments totalling C$125,000 ($127,300) cash, 9,615,000 shares, and $500,000 of exploration expenditure over three years. The vendors retain a 2% NSR royalty, with pivotal holding the right to buy back %1 for C$1 million.

Surface geophysics will commence in September to prioritise soil anomalies and fold nose targets ahead of possible drilling in the December quarter. Drilling continues in parallel at the Lorraine mine.

The Belleterre Project sits 85km south of Rouyn‑Noranda in the heart of the Abitibi greenstone belt.

Pivotal Metals is an Australian explorer advancing a portfolio of copper, nickel, and platinum group metal projects in Québec, including the flagship Horden Lake Project and the Belleterre Project.
