Green & Gold Minerals (ASX:GG1) reports it completed two holes at Mt Gossan within the Herberton Conductor Metals Project in August, intersecting broad zones of weathered mineralisation from surface.
MGC002 returned 11m @ 10.4 grams per tonne silver (Ag), 0.20% tin (Sn), 0.14g/t gold (Au), 15.7g/t indium (In), 0.05% copper (Cu), and 0.1% lead (Pb) from surface.
The interval includes 1m @ 34g/t Ag, 1.7% Sn, 0.77g/t Au, 101g/t In, 0.21% Cu, and 0.9% Pb from 2m.
Meanwhile, MGC001 intersected 27m @ 2.4g/t Ag, 0.06% Cu, and 4.4g/t In from surface.
The company says the shallow dipping mineralisation is interpreted to be a footwall repeat or breccia extension of the Siberia Lode and was intercepted in weathered rock, where copper depletion is expected.
The mineralised zone occurs 14m below the Siberia Lode in MGC001 and 22m below in MGC002. Magnetic inversion data shows the core of the magnetic anomaly has a northeast plunge, coming to surface at the Mt Gossan breccia outcrop.
Drilling kicks off at Mt Wandoo
Meanwhile, drilling has commenced at Mt Wandoo, with six holes completed as part of an infill, extensional, and metallurgical program.
The company expects to switch from truck-mounted to track-mounted drilling in mid-to-late October 2026. The track rig will initially mobilise to test ‘high-grade’ veins at Copper Hills and undertake maiden drilling at Elizabeth Bluffs.
First assay results from Mt Wandoo are expected in six to eight weeks.
Green & Gold plans to continue drilling until the Christmas break, moving between Mt Wandoo, Copper Hills, and Elizabeth Bluffs before returning to complete the Mt Wandoo program.
