Eureka Metals Tyee Project in Québec, Canada

Eureka samples ‘high-grade’ titanium at five new Tyee occurrences

Eureka Metals (CSE:ERKA) has identified five new ‘high-grade’ titanium occurrences at its Tyee Project in Québec, Canada.

Assay results from the 2026 surface exploration program returned up to 36.87% titanium dioxide (TiO2). Nine samples exceeded 35% TiO2, with grades ranging 35.13–36.87%.

The results expand the geographic distribution of known titanium mineralisation beyond the principal areas identified through previous exploration. Field crews identified six new massive ilmenite occurrences, with laboratory analysis confirming five returned samples grading more than 35% TiO2.

The nine samples exceeding 35% TiO2 also returned consistent vanadium values ranging 0.26–0.30% vanadium pentoxide (V2O5).

CEO Danny Matthews says the results demonstrate a broader mineralised footprint.

“The key result from this program is that we didn’t just reproduce the high titanium grades previously found at Tyee. We found them at five new occurrences,” Matthews adds.

Tyee sits within the Havre‑Saint‑Pierre anorthosite complex on Québec’s North Shore, an iron‑titanium oxide district that hosts Rio Tinto’s (ASX:RIO) producing Lac Tio ilmenite mine approximately 65km south.

Eureka recently completed approximately 2,300 line‑kilometres of high‑resolution airborne magnetic and electromagnetic surveying across Tyee.

The company will compare the new occurrences with geophysical results and historical data to prioritise follow‑up exploration.

Eureka Metals holds a 100% interest in Tyee, an option to acquire up to 80% of the KM98 Titanium Project in Québec, and an option to acquire 100% of the Cabin Lake Polymetallic Project in British Columbia, Canada.
