Corazon Mining (ASX:CZN) has defined a maiden exploration target containing up to 132,000 ounces of gold at its 100%-owned Two Pools Gold Project in Western Australia.
The exploration target is in the range of 1.4–2.15 million tonnes (Mt) @ 1.6–1.9 grams per tonne gold (Au), containing an estimated 72,000–132,000 ounces.
The target is conceptual, with insufficient drilling completed to estimate a mineral resource. Corazon says further exploration may not result in the estimation of one.
The company derived the range from historical and recent drilling data, three-dimensional geological interpretation, mineralised wireframes, and its four-hole, 995m maiden diamond drilling program completed in April 2026.
Managing Director Simon Coyle describes the exploration target as a starting point for the project.
“The range — up to 132,000 ounces of contained gold — is a conservative starting point rather than a ceiling,” Coyle says.
“We see genuine scope for Two Pools to deliver a step-change in scale as future drilling closes those gaps.”
The Northern target accounts for 0.9–1.5Mt @ 1.5–1.7g/t Au, containing an estimated 43,000–82,000 ounces.
Its interpreted mineralised system extends about 540m east–west, 350m north–south, and 190m vertically. Around 92 holes intersect the target, with spacing of 15–30m across the better-drilled areas.
Historical results include 12m @ 8.89g/t Au from 79m, including 3m @ 34.25g/t Au, and 18m @ 3.89g/t Au from 83m, including 4m @ 15.96g/t Au.
The Central and Southern targets contribute a further 500,000–650,000 tonnes @ 1.8–2.4g/t Au for 29,000–50,000 ounces. Drilling across these areas is more widely spaced, reaching up to about 200m in places.
Corazon says it plans around 5,000m of reverse circulation drilling across all three areas over the next six months, subject to funding, access, and regulatory approvals. The program will test extensions, reduce drill spacing, and assess whether a mineral resource estimate can be prepared.
