Altona moves shares onto US exchange

Altona Rare Earths (LSE:REE) has secured approval to trade shares on the OTCQB Venture Market, under the ticker symbol ANRCF.

The dual-listing is a direct and strategic complement to Altona’s recent US$1.875 million ($2.67 million) grant from the US Trade and Development Agency. Together, these milestones forge a direct pathway to engage with North American capital and strategic partners, enhancing Altona’s profile within the critical minerals market.

Altona says the OTCQB listing will be a key driver in broadening and diversifying the company’s shareholder base.

By providing the same ease of access for North American institutional and retail investors as exists in the UK, this dual-listing is designed to enhance liquidity and increase the company’s visibility among potential partners seeking exposure to independent, secure sources of critical minerals.

Over the coming months, Altona plans to pursue and evaluate potential partnerships, including upstream consideration opportunities, as well as integration with mid-stream and downstream participants in the US rare earths and gallium value chains.

CEO Cedric Simonet says the approval is not just an administrative milestone, but a “pivotal” moment that anchors the company deeper within the US critical mineral ecosystem.

The current geopolitical and market environment – substantiated by surging rare earth and gallium prices – is exceptionally favorable for creating value through supply chain consolidation and integration,” Simonet says.

“The consistent progress at Monte Muambe, particularly the rare earths and the new gallium work stream, strengthens Altona’s position as a contender for these strategic opportunities. Maximising this position will be our primary focus in the coming months as we look to accelerate the Company’s growth trajectory.”

Altona Rare Earths is a mineral explorer and developer focused on critical raw materials across Africa.

The company’s Monte Muambe Project in northwest Mozambique hosts rare earths, fluorspar and gallium mineralisation.
