West African gold explorer and developer Tietto Minerals (ASX:TIE) reports it has processed the first ore at its process plant located within the 3.45 million ounce Abujar Gold Project in Côte d’Ivoire.
The company also states it is on track to deliver the first gold pour at the project this month.
Tietto also reports project construction is progressing well with the 90kV transmission line from Daloa nearing completion, with the last 4 towers across the water dam expected to be completed in January 2023.

All 12 containerised ‘high-speed’ diesel generators for the diesel backup power station are on site and commissioned.
The company reports it has no debt with zero gold hedging and is advancing towards first gold production at Abujar by the end of December. Currently the project is forecast to produce 260,000 ounces of gold in its first year of production.
Throughout 2022 the company has implemented the dual strategy of ‘Drill and Build’ which continued to drive rapid resource growth at the 3.45Moz resource within the project, as well as fast-tracking the development process.
Tietto reports it aims to complete up to 120,000m of diamond drilling in 2022 with its fleet of 8 rigs in operation at Abujar, and it is finalising construction of the process plant and associated infrastructure which remains on schedule.
The Abujar Gold Project is located 30km from the major regional city of Daloa in central western Côte d’Ivoire. The project comprises 3 contiguous exploration tenements, Middle, South and North tenements with a total land area of 1,114km-square. It states less than 10% of this landholding has been explored.
