Stellar Resources’ Phase 2B infill drilling program ‘going to plan’ at Severn tin deposit

Stellar Resources (ASX:SRZ) reports its current Phase 2B infill drilling program underway targeting wide, ‘high-grade’ areas in the Severn tin deposit is ‘going to plan’.

The Severn tin deposit is the largest within the company’s flagship Heemskirk Tin Project.

Results from the final Phase 2A drillhole (ZS152) located about 100m to the south of the Severn Mineral Resource are also included in today’s update.

On 29 September 2022, Stellar commenced its Phase 2B infill drilling program of 8 inclined diamond holes for 3,860m at Severn.

“The Phase 2B infill drilling program, focused on further increasing the Severn Indicated Mineral Resource”

Executive Director Gary Fietz says: “The Phase 2B infill drilling program, focused on further increasing the Severn Indicated Mineral Resource, is progressing to plan and we expect to receive the results from the promising zones of mineralisation intersected in the first 2 holes by mid-February.

Hole ZS152, completed approximately 100m south of the Severn Mineral Resource, has not only demonstrated potential to significantly extend the Queen Hill and Severn tin mineralisation but has highlighted potential for a larger hydrothermal system with potential to host further zones of tin and/or copper mineralisation associated with structures / fluid pathways.”

The Phase 2B drilling program is focused on the following wide, high-grade areas of the Severn deposit to further increase the Indicated Mineral Resource including a Northern Severn high grade-thickness zone (6 holes); and a potential Southern Severn high grade-thickness zone (2 holes).

The Phase 2B program is progressing to plan with two holes completed to date and the third hole nearing completion (total 1,693m completed to 22 December 2022).
