GTI Energy (ASX:GTR) Executive Director Bruce Lane speaks to Shae Russell about the rising need for nuclear power globally for data centres and the company’s recently completed capital raising.
Speaking from the Global Uranium Conference in Adelaide Lane says there is a “stark contrast” between Australian and the US in terms of each country’s approach to uranium.
“We’ve had the [Australian] minister here, the opposition spokesman, talking very passionately about their commitment to nuclear power,” he says.
“We’re less engaged in that obviously because we’re focused on the US and they’re already well on the way with nuclear power.”
GTI recently completed a partially underwritten rights issue that raised $1.6 million.
