Fathom Nickel (CSE:FNI) has filed an independent technical report for its Gochager Lake Nickel-Copper-Cobalt Project in Saskatchewan, Canada, incorporating the recently released maiden mineral resource estimate (MRE).
The report was prepared in accordance with National Instrument 43-101 standards and contains no material differences from the MRE results announced on 10 September, Fathom says.
The MRE defined 858,701 tonnes of indicated resources grading 0.41% nickel (Ni), 0.12% copper (Cu), and 0.03% cobalt (Co), and 3.1 million tonnes of inferred resources grading 0.32% Ni, 0.09% Cu, and 0.03% Co.
In addition to the technical report filing, Fathom says it has provided a comprehensive 3D geological model of the Gochager Lake deposit for public viewing online.
The deposit forms part of an 8km Ni-Cu-Co trend that Fathom has identified across the Gochager Lake property.
The mineralised body is currently defined over approximately 300m of strike, ranges from about 40–75m in thickness, and extends to approximately 450m below the surface.
Recently, Fathom announced the discovery of new mineralised zones, including nickel grades of more than 1%, which could support resource growth.
Fathom Nickel is an exploration company targeting magmatic nickel sulphide discoveries to secure the supply of North American critical minerals.
