E3 Lithium (TSX-V:ETL) is continuing to deliver battery-grade lithium carbonate produced from its demonstration program to multiple parties as part of its engagement with targeted offtake and strategic partners.
The company is shipping 0.5kg lots to prospective partners across the lithium battery industry, with several requesting multiple kilograms for additional analysis.
The demonstration program, conducted within the Clearwater Project, collects data and operational information to complete E3’s front end engineering and design leading to the publication of a Feasibility Study. Clearwater is an advanced-stage lithium carbonate production facility in development.
E3 has proposed a staged development plan with a capacity of 12,000 tonnes of lithium carbonate annually and expansion potential of up to 36,000 tonnes per year.
CEO Chris Doornbos says this latest milestone marks a step in the commercial process toward securing long-term offtake agreements.
“Our ability to continually produce significant quantities of lithium carbonate from our demonstration facility highlights the size and sophistication of our operations,” Doornbos says.
E3 Lithium is a developer with a total of 21.2 million tonnes of lithium carbonate equivalent resource in the measured and indicated category, as well as 300,000 tonnes in the inferred category.
