Dryden Gold (TSX-V:DRY) has received an exploration permit for its Mud Lake target in Northwestern Ontario, Canada.
The permit enables drilling at the high-priority discovery target where surface samples from a high-grade shear zone assayed 93.00 grams per tonne gold.
The approved drill permit also covers the Wamsley target, another high-priority area identified during the 2025 mapping campaign.
CEO Trey Wasser says the company is encouraged by the possibility that the Manitou Dinorwic deformation zone could host multiple gold deposits along strike.
“Securing this drill permit is an important step toward testing the discovery potential at Mud Lake to prove periodicity, at the deposit scale,” Wasser says.
The company will deploy one rig to drill Mud Lake in early August.
Exploration drilling also continues at Gold Rock, advancing several high-priority targets, including a newly interpreted central mineralised corridor between the Elora and Big Master systems.
A second drill now operates testing depth extensions of known high-grade gold zones while the other drill expands the structural footprint at Gold Rock.
Dryden Gold controls a 100% interest in mining claims across a land position in the Dryden district, hosting gold mineralisation over 50km of potential strike length along the Manitou-Dinorwic deformation zone.
Dryden Gold is an exploration company focused on the discovery of gold mineralisation.
