Tivan (ASX:TVN) has appointed a new executive team led by Executive Chairman Grant Wilson to drive project execution at its Speewah Fluorite Project and Molyhil Tungsten Project.
The company has appointed Robert Gerrard as chief executive officer for Australia and promoted Brendon Nicol to chief technical officer. Dr Ellin Lede joins the board as executive director while retaining her role as chief development officer, marking the first change to Tivan’s board since September 2023.
Gerrard joined Tivan in April from Kellogg Brown & Root (NYSE:KBR), where he served as senior director, energy and resources. He brings over 18 years of project execution experience across engineering, procurement, and construction and engineering, procurement, and construction management delivery models.
Tivan says Gerrard will oversee commercial and operational workflows, contracts, procurement, workplace health and safety, and human resources capabilities.
Lede, based in Darwin, previously served as head of Northern Australia and led Fortescue Future Industries’ Office of Northern Australia. She will lead government, community, and stakeholder engagement across Australia, Japan, and Timor-Leste.
Nicol, who joined Tivan in December 2022, will oversee all technical disciplines including metallurgy, engineering, mining, and geology.
Additional leadership additions include Major Michael Stone (Ret’d) as special advisor in Timor-Leste, Maddalyn McBeath as commercial drector, Michael Fuss as principal geologist, and Yohanes Suryaputradinata as project manager for Molyhil.
Tivan also announces that CFO Tammie Dixon has resigned after 18 months, with Chief Commercial Officer Jason Giltay acting as interim chief financial officer while a replacement is sourced.
