St-Georges Eco-Mining (CSE:SX) says it is continuing to seek partners for its mineral assets in Québec, Canada, ahead of further exploration.
The company currently holds three projects in the province: the Manicouagan and Julie nickel and critical minerals projects and the Notre-Dame niobium project.
Manicouagan is a 204.7km² property where a previous 1.1-million-tonne bulk sample yielded average grades of 1.71% copper (Cu), 2.61% nickel (Ni), 3.73 grams per tonne platinum, 5.38g/t palladium (Pd), and 0.84g/t rhodium.
St-Georges is planning a 2027 exploration campaign, placing greater weight on copper targets. The project has already seen more than 10,000m of drilling.
The Julie property covers 162.2km² and is prospective for nickel, copper, cobalt, palladium, platinum, silver, zinc, and magnesium. Historical sampling yielded grades of up to 2.2% Ni, 0.33% Cu, and 0.103g/t Pd.
At Notre-Dame, the company completed a surface campaign in 2022 and a 14-hole drill campaign in 2024.
Exploration in Iceland
Elsewhere, St-Georges is advancing its Iceland assets through subsidiary Iceland Resources, with further exploration planned at its Brunnárdalur Gold-Silver Project.
Its project partner, Aurania Resources (TSX-V:ARU), also completed 2026 drilling at the Thormódsdalur Gold Project in October.
Technology ventures
Across its other ventures, St-Georges Metallurgy and H2SX are defining the next phase of their respective development programs. This includes St-Georges Metallurgy undertaking further technical and commercial analysis of applications for its mineral processing and lithium recovery technology.
On the battery recycling front, St-Georges’ EVSX subsidiary operated intermittently at its Thorold facility in Ontario, Canada, during the past quarter.
According to the company, irregular cash receipts during the ramp-up and work to address issues arising from the operating transition have limited processing continuity.
Management expects the ramp-up to continue for at least another quarter before EVSX reaches its intended operating pace.
The company’s stock resumed trading on the Canadian Securities Exchange on 4 November.
St-Georges Eco-Mining develops new technologies and holds a diversified portfolio of assets and patent-pending intellectual property across multiple subsidiaries.
