Scottie Resources (TSX-V:SCOT) has received more drill results from the Blueberry Contact Zone within the Scottie Gold Mine, which is rapidly evolving from lightly drilled to a ‘cornerstone growth asset’.
Infill and expansion drilling, completed in 2025, has further shown the grade profile and strong continuity at Blueberry, reinforcing its importance to the development strategy and highlights potential to enhance the project’s robust economics.
CEO Brad Rourke says the zone continues to exceed the company’s expectations.
“Consistent high-grade intercepts and expanding continuity support our view that Blueberry represents a significant value driver within the broader Scottie Gold Mine Project,” Rourke says.
“As we continue to infill and expand the zone, we see meaningful opportunity to enhance scale and unlock additional shareholder value.”
Some of the latest results include 29m @ 26.5 grams per tonne gold and 11.5g/t silver from 27m; 55.40m @ 63.8g/t gold and 117g/t silver from 53.90m; and 233.90m @ 2.25g/t and 52.5g/t silver from 219.8m.
Over the past six months, exploration at the Scottie Mine has delivered ‘strong’ results, marked by the discovery of four new zones – Blueberry Contact, Domino, D-Zone and P-Zone.
The Blueberry Contact Zone, located 2km northeast of the past-producing Scottie Gold Mine in British Columbia’s Golden Triangle.
As previously reported, the company is set to begin an upcoming field season focusing on expanding known ‘high-grade’ zones and testing new conceptual targets emerging from the evolving geological model.
Scottie Resources will be in attendance at this year’s Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada (PDAC), held from 1-4 March in Toronto, Canada. Mining.com.au is a media partner for this year’s convention.
