PTR Minerals (ASX:PTR) has reported additional drill results from its maiden JORC mineral resource drill program at the Rosewood Titanium Project in the northern Gawler Craton of South Australia.
The drill program consisted of 446 air core drill holes, covering a total 9,388m in an area approximately 40km2. The initial results from the first 17 drill holes were reported in December 2025.
The latest batch of assays cover 47 drill holes, drilled on 100m – 200m spacing with the Rosewood East area, and confirm consistent, ‘high-grade’ heavy mineral mineralisation over broad, vertical intervals. The results indicate that several of the intercepts exceed 20-40m in thickness.
Key intercepts include 42m @ 11.9% heavy minerals from 0m, including 5m @ 18% heavy minerals from 6m; 32m @ 12.1% heavy minerals from 10m, including 6m @ 15.9% heavy minerals from 11m; and 25m @ 12.8% heavy minerals from 8m, including 5m @ 23.5% heavy minerals from 10m.
CEO Peter Reid says that the scale of infill drilling and the mineralisation high within positions the company well to deliver an indicated mineral resource at Rosewood East.
“Based on our most recent results, where widely spaced drill lines in the southern zone are consistently returning grades above 10% heavy minerals over substantial thicknesses (in excess of 20m), we anticipate the potential for significant high-grade tonnage to be included within this maiden resource,” Reid says.
“We are now focused on undertaking mineral separation testwork which, together with acquired market intelligence, will help define potential final product specifications and assist in advancing the project’s processing strategy.”
PTR is targeting a JORC mineral resource estimate for Q2 2026.

Metallurgical testwork has already generated a heavy mineral concentrate grading 91-98% heavy minerals, with 86-95% recovery using conventional gravity processing.
Separation testwork continues to confirm the ability to produce a range of titanium products with low impurities.
Finally, the company is continuing with processing optimisation, with a three-tonne bulk sample having been collected and Mineral Technologies engaged to advance the metallurgical testwork, progress the plant and its onsite infrastructure, assess mineral separation plant options, and prepare the operating cost estimates.
PTR Minerals is a critical minerals explorer, focused on quality deposits in South Australia.
The company is attending the RIU Explorers Conference in Fremantle, Western Australia, held from 17-19 February 2026.
