Dark Star brightens advisory board

Dark Star Minerals (CSE:BATT) has appointed Duane Parnham to its advisory board to assist with capital markets strategy while the company advances its Namibia uranium assets.

Parnham has played a key role in creating more than C$1.5 billion ($1.63 billion) in shareholder value for resources companies including Forsys Metals (TSX:FSY) and UNX Energy.

He has over 35 years of experience as a Canadian mining executive and entrepreneur, also involved with companies such as Temex Resources and Giyani Metals (TSX-V:EMM).

Parnham has worked in geological and environmental consulting, capital markets, and executive leadership roles in Canada and internationally.

CEO Marc Branson says Parnham’s proven track record in leading successful public companies enhances Dark Star’s strategic capabilities and “underscores our continued commitment to working with Critical One to develop world-class uranium assets in Namibia”.

Meanwhile, Dark Star is also expanding its holding in Saskatchewan following the acquisition of the Bleasdell Project earlier in the week, as reported by Mining.com.au.

Dark Star Minerals is a uranium and critical minerals explorer focused on aiding the global shift towards sustainable energy.
