Terra Metals (ASX:TM1) has reported a second round of assay results from the resource upgrade drilling at Reef 2 at the Dante Project, confirming polymetallic mineralisation.
Assay results are from 15 reverse circulation drillholes and one diamond drillhole and demonstrate thick, laterally continuous titanium-vanadium-platinum group metals (PGM)-copper-gold mineralisation from surface.
Infill drilling has reported some of the highest metal grades seen at Reef 2 including 2.11 grams per tonne platinum-palladium-gold (PGE3), 26.9% titanium oxide, and 1.25% vanadium pentoxide. Terra notes that these results reinforce the potential upside from infill drilling.
Additional highlight results include 8m @ 1.73% copper equivalent from 47m, including 3.17m @ 2.22% copper equivalent from 47m and 1.9m @ 2.66% copper equivalent from 51m.
CEO Thomas Line says that the results validate Reef 2 as a polymetallic reef system with scale and consistency.
“What stands out in this second round of assays is not just the thickness and continuity of mineralisation from surface, but the repeated presence of high-grade internal reef positions carrying platinum, gold, copper, titanium, and vanadium together,” Line says.
“Reef 2 represents a very different — and highly complementary — style of mineralisation to the high-grade palladium-rich sulfide discoveries emerging at Southwest. Together they position Dante as a rare distinct-scale system offering exposure to both large-scale titanium-vanadium-platinum-gold-copper reefs, and high-grade PGM sulfides with world class grade potential.”
Reef 2, alongside Reef 1, forms part of the existing Dante Reefs mineral resource estimate (MRE) and represent a style of mineralisation (titanium-vanadium-PGM-gold-copper) that is distinctly different from the newly discovered palladium-rich-PGM-copper-nickel sulfide system at the Southwest Prospect.
In January 2026, Terra announced a ‘major’ PGM discovery at Southwest, as previously reported, with results spanning more than 850m in strike length and 250m in width.
Assays are pending for more than half of the 2025 resource upgrade drillholes. Terra expects to continue to release additional results as they continue to advance the Dante Project.
