Terra Metals Dante Project in Western Australia

Terra Metals discovers Southwest’s ‘largest continuous high-grade’ reef

Terra Metals (ASX:TM1) reports continuous ‘high-grade’ intercepts from the Southwest platinum group metals-copper-nickel discovery, located within the Dante Project in Western Australia’s West Musgrave region.

Diamond drilling has confirmed the largest continuous ‘high-grade’ reef at Southwest to date, with the strike extended to 1,350m and remaining open in all directions.

The company also notes that multiple ‘high-grade’ reefs are stacked throughout the system from near surface, which provides the option to selectively process higher-grade mineralisation during potential future mining.

Key results include 336.9m @ 1.02 grams per tonne 3E (platinum, palladium, and gold), 0.11% copper, and 0.19% nickel from 191.1m, including 32.5m @ 1.50g/t 3E from 202m.

Other significant intercepts returned include 181m @ 0.85g/t 3E from 421m, including 31m @ 1.40g/t 3E from 473m; 308.4m @ 0.92g/t 3E from 167.5m; and 172.8m @ 0.83g/t 3E from 133.2m.

CEO and Managing Director Thomas Line says the company has also received heritage approvals for the entire immediate Southwest footprint, enabling grid-spaced resource-definition drilling to advance.

“Heritage clearance now covers the full footprint,” Line says.

“With access now cleared across the Southwest area and metallurgical test work advancing, the maiden mineral resource estimate is on track for Q1 2027.”

Line also reveals that first-pass drilling at the Double Snag prospect, located 1,200m along strike from Southwest, has intersected ‘thick’ sulphide mineralisation — particularly at the Area 1 and Area 2 prospects, with visual estimates showing up to 70% sulphide content in some intervals.

Key geophysical signatures have also been confirmed by new discovery zones, which indicates potential for further strike extension and resource growth.

The company reports cleaner flotation metallurgical test work is currently underway, assessing both bulk and split concentrate options. Extensional drilling also remains ongoing.

Dubbing its current program ‘aggressive’, Terra Metals says more than 40,000 assays remain pending, excluding ongoing drilling.

Terra Metals is a critical minerals explorer and developer focused on its flagship Dante Project in WA.
