Scottie advances toward development with board changes

Scottie Resources (TSX-V:SCOT) has strengthened its executive team as it advances its namesake gold mine, located in British Columbia, towards production.

Brad Rourke, who assumed leadership of Scottie in 2017, will be transitioning from CEO to Executive Chairman, effective immediately. He will focus on strategic oversight, capital markets engagement and corporate development initiatives.

During his tenure, Scottie has expanded its land package from 500 hectares to 58,500 hectares of highly prospective mineral claims within the Stewart Mining Camp in British Columbia’s Golden Triangle.

Meanwhile, Thomas Mumford has been appointed as CEO, while Chris Noon has been appointed as CFO.

Rourke says this transition enables the company to further strengthen the leadership team as it advances toward the next stage of development.

I look forward to working closely with Thomas as we continue building value in the Golden Triangle,” he says.

As CEO, Mumford will lead the company’s operational execution, strategic planning and stakeholder engagement.

Meanwhile, Chris Noon brings over 10 years of experience in public company finance, capital markets, and regulatory compliance including experience with TSX-V-listed mining issuers.

The company remains fully funded to advance its 2026 drill programs, engineering studies and environmental baseline work, whcih are designed to progress the Scottie Gold Mine through feasibility.
