SAGA Metals receives confidence in Trapper Zone’s scale

SAGA Metals (TSX-V:SAGA) has received assay results from an ongoing maiden drilling program at the Trapper Zone target in Canada, reinforcing the scale and continuity of the mineralised system.

Three holes delivered consistent broad intercepts of oxide mineralisation.

Some of the results include 80.8m @ 42.74% iron oxide, 5.18% titanium dioxide, 0.320% vanadium pentoxide; 105.7m @ 42.39% iron oxide, 5.40% titanium dioxide, 0.306% vanadium pentoxide; and 106.8m @ 44.41% iron oxide, 5.36% titanium dioxide, and 0.341% vanadium pentoxide.

Director Michael Garagan says it is “encouraging” to see multiple core intercepts now exceeding 100m grading over 5% titanium dioxide with substantial higher-grade zones.

“Combined with the fact that we have intersected oxide mineralisation in all 55 drill holes completed to date at the Radar Project, this gives us tremendous confidence in the scale, continuity, and overall strength of the mineralised system as we advance toward our maiden mineral resource estimate,” the director says.

SAGA Metals says drilling is progressing efficiently, with 14 holes returning assays to date, across 9,078m of diamond drilling. The drill rig has moved to drill pad R-0056 and IGS Laboratories finalised analysis of 710 samples.

The company is reviewing and interpreting the data to release the next set of assays in a week.

A total of 5,205 samples have been collected to date in the Trapper Zone.

The Trapper Zone is located within the Radar Titanium-Vanadium-Iron Project located in Labrador, Canada. Radar spans 24,175 hectares and hosts the entire Dykes River intrusive complex, a unique position among Western explorers.

SAGA Metals is a North American explorer focused on discovering a suite of critical minerals that support the transition to supply security.
