SAGA Metals (TSX-V:SAGA) is one drill hole away from completing the planned mineral resource estimate (MRE) drill program at the Trapper Zone within the Radar Titanium-Vanadium-Iron Project in Canada.
This news comes after SAGA received additional assay results from the ongoing drill program, which delivered consistent broad intercepts of oxide mineralisation.
Some of the key results include 163m @ 43.07% iron oxide (Fe2O3), 6.19% titanium dioxide (TiO2), and 0.293% vanadium pentoxide (V2O5); 33m @ 34.37% Fe2O3, 5.24% TiO2, and 0.173% V2O5; and 98.9m @ 28.51% Fe2O3, 4.01% TiO2, and 0.157% V2O5.
Director Michael Garagan says the results continue to show the continuity and consistency of oxide mineralisation across the Trapper Zone.
“Given the massive intercepts of semi-massive oxide encountered in Trapper North, management decided to add two additional holes to the program to collect critical structural data that will further strengthen the resource model,” Garagan says.
“We remain highly encouraged by the scale and quality of the mineralisation as we advance toward our maiden MRE.”
The Trapper Zone forms part of an oxide corridor that includes the Falcon and Hawkeye zones, collectively covering 29km2.
Radar comprises 690 mineral claims across nine mineral licences, totalling 24,175 hectares in southeastern Labrador. The property entirely encloses the Dykes River Intrusive Complex and is accessible all year.
