New targets, shiny sulphides and rocks that are out of this world!
Orbit Resources (ASX:OBT) has identified a new 1km magnetic target along strike from its Cousin Jack polymetallic discovery at the Lewis Ponds Project in New South Wales.
Managing Director Jeneta Owens joined us at IMARC 2026 in Sydney, bringing along some seriously sparkly drill core to show off the company’s latest exploration progress.
Key topics discussed:
- Magnetic attraction: A drone magnetic survey has identified a new target coinciding with an existing induced polarisation anomaly, helping guide future exploration
- Cousin Jack delivers: The earlier discovery intersected massive and semi-massive sulphides, opening up potential for a larger mineralised system
- Drilling at Lewis Ponds: Diamond drilling has targeted Spicer’s and Tom’s lodes and nearby exploration areas, with further assays pending
- More before Christmas: Additional drilling results and plans to advance the Yeoval–Goodrich copper-gold joint venture are on the agenda
