Kairos confirms new trading name to take off tomorrow

Kairos Minerals (ASX:KAI) will begin trading as Pilbara Gold on the Australian Securities Exchange tomorrow (22 April), using the ticker code ‘PGL’, having completed the name change requirements with the Australian Securities and Investment Commission.

Speaking to this news service at the Gold Coast Gold Conference last month (25 March), Managing Director Peter Turner says the name change reflects what the company does and where it is, as reported by Mining.com.au.

The name, Kairos Minerals, was more reflective of the company’s previous shared exploration focus on a lithium mine nearby to the Mt York Gold Project in Western Australia.

As reported last week (13 April), Kairos increased its resource estimate for Mt York to 61.7 million tonnes @ 1.05 grams per tonne gold for 2.08 million ounces.

Kairos Minerals is focused on advancing its flagship Mt York Project, along with its portfolio of gold projects in the Pilbara and Eastern Goldfields.
