HyTerra jumps on OTCQB bandwagon

HyTerra (ASX:HYT) has begun trading on the OTCQB Venture Market under the ticker code ‘HYTLF’, as a part of the company’s plan to commercialise its Nemaha Hydrogen-Helium Project in Kansas and further expand into the US.

Executive Director Benjamin Mee says listing on the OTCQB is a crucial step in strengthening the company’s accessibility to US investors.

“This initiative aligns with our US focused plan to commercialise quickly and use our gained knowledge to polarise additional opportunities within the US and expand our footprint accordingly,” Mee says.

“The US energy sector is entering a phase of renewed interest and investment to secure energy supply and homegrown innovation.”

The company engaged Viriathus Capital to launch its listing process, as reported by Mining.com.au.

Earlier this year, HyTerra finished up its maiden operational program, comprising 2,300km2 of airborne survey coverage, 130km of seismic, and drilling at three wells, each of which highlighted hydrogen and helium shows. The program was conducted at Nemaha over a six-month period.

Located between Kansas City and Wichita, Nemaha spans around 72,500 acres hosting more than 10 hydrogen and helium occurrences at historical wells, providing grades up to 92% hydrogen and 3% helium.

A number of ASX-listed companies have been listing on the US OTC Markets this year, with the OTCQB Venture Market reeling in explorers to boost investor engagement with US assets.

Most recently, Mining.com.au reported Power Minerals (ASX:PNN) debuting on the mid-level market earlier this week (21 October), as the company leans into its heavy rare earths reach to become a “globally recognised developer”.

In September 2025, Great Northern Minerals (ASX:GNM) listed on the OTCQB Market, similarly engaging Viriathus Capital. The company says engaging with the US market is a part of its greater strategy to build visibility and engagement with its Catalyst Ridge Rare Earth Element-Antimony Project in California.

Resolution Minerals (ASX:RML) began trading operations on the market in August 2025, jumping in on the growing US demand for antimony and its use in the defence, semiconductor, and clean energy sectors, as reported by Mining.com.au. The company’s Horse Heaven Antimony-Gold Project is located in Idaho.

In June 2025, Locksley Resources (ASX:LKY) also brought in Viriathus Capital to list on the OTCQB to unlock local investor interest in the Mojave Project in California, as reported

This news service also reported Vertex Minerals (ASX:VTX) listed on the market in March 2025, using the ticker code ‘VTXXF’ to improve trade accessibility.

The OTCQB Venture Market is for entrepreneurial and development stage US and international companies. To be eligible, companies must be current in their reporting and undergo an annual verification and management certification process. Companies must meet a $0.01 bid test and may not be in bankruptcy.
