Great Northern Minerals (ASX:GNM) has appointed US-based Viriathus Capital to assist in the company’s listing on the OTCQB Venture Market, as part of the group’s strategy to build visibility and investor engagement in the US.
Viriathus Capital’s Ellis Martin will act as Great Northern’s OTC Markets Advisor for the listing process and will be responsible for managing the end-to-end process, including preparing all application materials and liaising with OTC Markets.
The OTCQB serves as a prominent US marketplace for emerging and developing international companies. It is expected to enhance visibility, trading access, and liquidity for North American investors.
Non-executive Chairman Eddie King says the appointment is a milestone for the company in unlocking US investor interest in Great Northern’s Catalyst Ridge Rare Earth Element-Antimony Project.
“Furthermore the recent directive from the US Department of Defense, prohibiting the use of Chinese-origin rare earth materials in all defense systems from January 2027, underlines the positive growth outlook for US sourced rare earths and the potential significance of the Catalyst Ridge Project,” King says.
Great Northern Mines is focused on establishing a new goldfield in Northern Queensland.
