Corazon Mining (ASX:CZN) has executed a diamond drilling agreement with K-Drill to commence the maiden drilling program for the wholly owned Two Pools Project in Western Australia.
The drilling program will consist of four drill holes totalling approximately 1,000m and is designed to test the down plunge extensions of the known mineralisation.
The drilling will also provide details on the known mineralised lodes and confirmatory assays on historical data.
Historical intercepts include 12m @ 8.9 grams per tonne gold, 18m @ 3.9g/t gold, and 8m @ 7.8g/t gold.
Managing Directory Simon Coyle says that the contract with K-Drill is a “pivotal step” for Two Pools.
“This program is strategically designed to resolve the structural complexities of the mineralised system, providing the technical foundation required for long-term exploration success,” Coyle says.
“Most importantly, we are testing the high-grade core and the significant down-plunge extensions of the system, which remain open and largely untested.
“We believe this program offers substantial upside, with the potential to materially expand the known mineralised footprint and unlock the true scale of the Two Pools Project.”
Corazon has also completed its heritage survey and program of work (PoW) approvals and notes that drilling will commence upon receipt of the final heritage survey reports.
Corazon Mining is a mineral exploration and development company focused on ‘high-grade’ gold exploration in Western Australia.
