ABx continues discussions with strategic investors, offtake partners

ABx Group (ASX:ABX) is continuing commercial discussions with potential strategic investors that included the possibility of an alternative location for  the continuous pilot plant to produce hydrogen fluoride and aluminium fluoride from aluminium smelter waste.

The initial site proposed was the ALCORE Technology Centre in New South Wales.

Until the commercial discussions are finalised, the ordering of continuous pilot plant reactors are being deferred.

At the Sunrise Bauxite Project in Queensland, the $15.5 million market capitalisation company is continuing negotiations with multiple offtake partners for potential long-term supply contracts.

ABx has also completed remodelling of the Binjour mine plan which aimed to further enhance functionality and maximise operational efficiency.

During Q1 2024, ABx conducted a 66-hole drilling campaign at the Wind Break deposit in Tasmania. The company says  assays confirm that its deposits have the “highest proportion of the most valuable permanent magnet rare earths of any clay-hosted rare earths resource in Australia”.

As this news service previously reported, the company is currently conducting a resource update for the Rubble Mound Project. ABx plans to announce the updated resource soon.

ABx Group is an Australian company focused on the creation of an ionic adsorption clay rare earth project in northern Tasmania, the establishment of a plant to produce hydrogen fluoride and aluminium fluoride from recycled industrial waste, and bauxite mining

ABx staff will be attending the RIU Sydney Resources Round-up at Darling Harbour’s Hyatt Regency Hotel being held on 7-9 May 2024.

Last year’s RIU Sydney Resources Round-up attracted more than 1,500 delegates, making it the busiest since its inception in 2004. With over 800 of last year’s delegates coming from the investor or broker/fund categories, this conference offers investor engagement opportunities.
