Terra unveils Dante’s new titanium-sulphide reefs

Terra Metals (ASX:TM1) has uncovered multiple new titanium-sulphide reefs at the Southwest prospect within the Dante Project in the West Musgrave region of Western Australia.

The newly identified reefs differ from the Reef 1 and Reef 2 resource by showing continuous packages up to 58m in thickness, marking the discoveries to be 11 times thicker than the current resource basal reef.

Terra reports the reefs to host evidence of mafic-ultramafic geology with higher contents of sulphide, and “high grades” of cobalt, nickel sulphide, and palladium.

The discovery comes from assays of the first eight reverse circulation drillholes, as part of an ongoing drilling campaign with 49 holes completed to date.

Highlights from the SW3 prospect include 59m @ 0.95% copper equivalent and 172 parts per million (ppm) cobalt, including 31m @ 1.14% copper equivalent and 198ppm cobalt from 139m, and 61m @ 0.70% copper equivalent from surface, including 5m @ 1.09% copper equivalent from surface.

Terra is currently streamlining downhole electromagnetic programs across six holes from zones with high contents of sulphide.

Managing Director Thomas Line says the findings mark a new style of mineralisation for the Southwest prospect.

“The combination of thick, sulfide-rich reef packages and encouraging copper–nickel–cobalt and platinum group elements values points to strong potential to expand the scale and diversity of mineralisation within the Dante system,” Line says.

“With more than 40 drillholes still to be reported, and recently observed visual sulfides in diamond drilling (assays pending) our focus now is on systematic follow-up drilling to define the geometry and continuity of these new reefs.”

Terra Metals is a mineral explorer focused on advancing discoveries at the Dante Project which has the potential to host large sulphide deposits.

The company will be attending this year’s Noosa Mining Investor Conference, held between 12-14 November 2025, at the Peppers Noosa Resort. Mining.com.au is a media partner for this year’s event
