Sybil’s drill results continues seeing Sunshine

Sunshine Metals (ASX:SHN) has intersected further shallow epithermal gold at the Sybil Project, part of the broader Ravenswood Consolidated Project in Queensland.

At the Francis prospect, the latest results include 5.2m @ 9.01 grams per tonne gold from 52m, including 1.40m @ 31.70g/t gold from 55.8m.

Managing Director Damien Keys says the latest intersection occurs near the intersection of two epithermal veins and provides further support to the concept of “high-grade” shoots within the broader A Vein.

“We look forward to reporting on the remaining results in early November 2025,” Keys says.

The company has now completed the diamond drilling program, which comprised 14 holes for 1,177.4m.

Results have been returned for seven holes, with the best holes returning grades of 57.51g/t gold and 148g/t gold. Assays for the remaining seven holes are all expected in early to mid-November 2025.

As previously reported, the company aimed to target low sulphidation, epithermal gold mineralisation in the A Vein and Main Vein at the Francis Creek deposit.

The Sybil Project, located 135km west of Townsville, with epithermal gold first identified within the project in 1986 through classic colloform, crustiform, and cockade epithermal vein textures.

The Ravenswood Consolidated Project – located in the Charters Towers-Ravenswood District – is considered prospective for zinc, copper, lead, gold, silver, and molybdenum.

Sunshine Metals is a gold and copper-focused explorer with a portfolio of projects in Queensland.
