SuperQ appoints strategic advisor to scale quantum infrastructure

SuperQ Quantum Computing (CSE:QBTQ) appoints Bob Dameron as Senior Strategic Advisor to expand its sovereign hybrid-cloud infrastructure deployment globally.

The appointment follows the company’s ‘Sovereign-by-Design’ initiative launched on 11 February 2026, with Dameron set to oversee the scaling of decentralised compute nodes at Super Hubs and on-premise deployments.

Dameron brings more than 20 years of experience in financial services and technology sectors, having previously held senior executive positions at the Toronto Stock Exchange and served as President, CEO, and COO of the Ontario Teachers’ Group Investment Funds.

His recent experience includes 12 years as an executive, advisor and board member for emerging technology companies across North America, including four years as Head of Business Development at Multiverse Computing.

CEO Muhammad Khan says the expansion of sovereign hybrid infrastructure has become crucial for economic and national security.

“By engaging Bob Dameron, we are adding a battle-tested architect of scale to our mission of providing an ironclad ‘Data and Compute Sanctuary’,” Khan says.

The company’s strategic objectives for 2026 include rapid infrastructure deployment across North America, Europe, and the Middle East, alongside increased institutional adoption in regulated financial and government sectors.

SuperQ’s super platform aims to make advanced computational power more accessible, focusing on applications across finance, healthcare, logistics, and defense sectors.

The company maintains its headquarters in Canada with expanding operations in the US, Middle East and Asia through strategically located Super Hubs.
