Sinclair Gold (ASX:SGC) reports drilling has intersected ‘high-grade’ gold beyond its Mt Henry resource in Western Australia.
Drilling yielded 5.4m @ 15.4 grams per tonne gold (Au) from 193m in the northern section of the deposit, including 0.4m @ 122.7g/t Au and 0.9m @ 35.4g/t Au. Broad intercepts, including 39.6m @ 1.4g/t Au from 176.4m, extend mineralisation up to 230m beyond the current resource boundary.
In the central section, 9.8m @ 3.0g/t Au from 351.6m extends mineralisation 80m beyond the boundary. Sinclair also identified ‘strong’ mineralisation at the southern boundary, with an intercept of 11m @ 1.7g/t Au from 103m.
A new area was also discovered 250m south of the main resource, beneath previous drilling at the Birthday Gift area. Hole MTHR0083 returned 6m @ 5.0g/t Au from 160m to end of hole, including 1m @ 25.0g/t Au. The hole is a reverse circulation pre-collar, which the company plans to extend with a diamond tail.
CEO Jeff Sansom says the results show ‘significant’ growth potential.
“We have doubled the project resource […] since February, and these latest results demonstrate there is plenty more to come,” Sansom says, adding that much of the 16km mineralised corridor remains untested.
Sinclair acquired the Mt Henry Gold Project in February 2026 and has lifted the resource by about 100% since. The project now hosts a JORC mineral resource estimate (MRE) of 48 million tonnes @ 1.2g/t Au for 1.8 million ounces.
Sinclair says five rigs remain active across Mt Henry and Selene, with assays pending from 30 holes outside the current resource boundaries.
The company expects to update the Mt Henry MRE before the end of FY2027.
Sinclair Gold owns the Mt Henry Project in WA, located approximately 20km south of Norseman.
