Sinclair Gold (ASX:SGC) has received step-out drilling results that extend mineralisation beyond its 1.8-million-ounce (Moz) mineral resource estimate (MRE) at the Mt Henry Gold Project in Western Australia.
Assays received after the 31 July 2026 cut-off date indicate growth potential outside existing resource boundaries across the shallow Mt Henry and Selene deposits.
At Mt Henry, step-out drilling extended multiple mineralised lodes up to 100m beyond the 0.9Moz resource.
Intersections include 18m @ 1.8 grams per tonne gold (Au) from 315m, including 7m @ 4g/t Au; 23m @ 1.4g/t Au from 239m, including 15m @ 1.9g/t Au; 13m @ 1.8g/t Au from 324m; 16.3m @ 1.1g/t Au from 472.8m; and 9m @ 1.1g/t Au from 176m.
Meanwhile at Selene, drilling extended mineralisation approximately 75m beyond the 0.9Moz resource footprint. New results include 41.1m @ 1.1g/t Au from 194.9m, including 24.9m @ 1.5g/t Au; and 16m @ 1.2g/t Au from 222m, including 6.3m @ 2.1g/t Au.
CEO Jeff Sansom says that with the doubling of the resource to 1.8Moz within six months of acquiring the Mt Henry Project, the company is already “well on the path” to another major resource update this financial year.
“These strong assays … [show] there is plenty of room for further growth. Both deposits remain open at depth and along strike, we have five rigs turning and plenty of targets still to test across the broader 16km mineralised corridor,” Sansom says.
The five rigs will continue drilling through 2026, with assays pending, as Sinclair aims for an updated MRE before the end of the 2027 financial year.
“We are targeting a substantially larger, multimillion-ounce gold project and already have a fantastic foundation to build from,” Sansom says.
The company acquired Mt Henry in February 2026 and held $38.2 million in cash as at 30 June 2026, providing funding to continue resource growth.
Sinclair Gold owns the Mt Henry Project in WA, located approximately 20km south of Norseman. The 1.8Moz resource comprises 48 million tonnes at 1.2g/t Au across Mt Henry, Selene, and North Scotia, alongside existing stockpiles.
