Rumble Resources (ASX:RTR) reports the presence of a 2.2km ‘high-grade’ feeder structure following a maiden reverse circulation (RC) drilling operation at the Chinook prospect, as part of its flagship Earaheedy Project in Western Australia.
The newly identified Chikamin Feeder Zone has returned ‘high-grade’ Zn-Pb mineralisation and extends 2.2km in strike, with mineralisation remaining open to the northwest and trending southeast-northwest into Rumble’s 100% owned tenement (E69/3787).
It is also reported that the Chikamin Feeder Zone shares similar characteristics to the equally large scale Kalitan Feeder Zone and is zinc sulphide dominant, with key results including:
- Hole EHRC596: 12m @ 5.49% Zn+Pb from 56m, incl. 6m @ 9.90% Zn+Pb from 57m
- Hole EHRC598: 56m @ 2.00% Zn+Pb from 103m, incl. 14m @ 4.25% Zn+Pb from 107m
- Hole EHRC600: 9m @ 3.37% Zn+Pb from 63m, incl. 1m @ 9.28% Zn+Pb from 64m
- Hole EHRC603: 38m @ 2.22% Zn+Pb from 83m, incl. 3m @ 4.63% Zn+Pb from 85m; and 2m @ 8.01% Zn+Pb from 118m
Results from additional feeder zones include:
- Hole EHRC609: 22m @ 2.88% Zn+Pb from 62m, incl. 12m @ 4.1% Zn+Pb from 69m; and 7m @ 5.08% Zn+Pb from 72m
- Hole EHRC632: 53m @ 1.13% Zn+Pb from 43m, incl. 6m @ 4.22% Zn+Pb, 24g/t Ag from 72m; and 2m @ 8.15% Zn+Pb, 16g/t Ag from 76m
- Hole EHRC466: 64m @ 1.42% Zn+Pb from 80m, incl. 5m @ 7.62% Zn+Pb from 127m
- Hole EHRC465: 24m @ 2.00% Zn+Pb from 86m, incl. 7m @ 4.39% Zn+Pb from 97m; and 2m @ 7.03% Zn+Pb from 101m

The maiden RC drilling campaign was commenced to extend the Chinook prospect west along the Sweetwater Trend and has intersected ‘high-grade’ mineralisation.
The company also notes that results indicate the existence of two additional parallel ‘high-grade’ feeders, successfully increasing the deposit’s mineralised footprint to over 5.5km x 2km, with mineralisation remaining open in all directions.
In addition, results gathered from east of Chinook at the Spur Feeder Zone have demonstrated strong continuity of ‘high-grade’ Zn+Pb mineralisation within broad intervals up to 60m wide, and is contiguous with the Kalitan Feeder Zone on an east-west trend.
Mineralisation at the Spur Feeder Zone remains open at depth and to the east.
The Earaheedy Project is located about 110km northeast of the township of Wiluna in Western Australia and represents a joint venture (JV) between Rumble Resources and Zenith Minerals (ASX:ZNC), with Rumble owning the majority 75% of all associated tenements and Zenith owning the remaining 25%. The project has emerged as a rapidly expanding world class scale Zn-Pb-Ag-Cu base metal system following a major sedimentary hosted base metal discovery in April 2021, representing one of the largest Zn-Pb discoveries in recent history.
With the first set of assays from the recent maiden RC drilling now received, Rumble announces that RC drilling will continue to target further ‘high-grade’ feeders along the Sweetwater Trend while it awaits for assays from a recent RC drilling campaign at the Tonka-Navajoh prospect.
Further RC and diamond drilling (DD) has been planned to test the many potential ‘high-grade’ east-west and northwest-southeast feeder structures.
