Rumble designates operations manager for Western Queen

Rumble Resources (ASX:RTR) has appointed Jake Campbell as general manager operations to lead the Western Queen Gold and Tungsten Project through development into production beginning 10 August 2026.

The newly minted manager holds over 15 years of underground mining experience in project development, commissioning, and operations, including previous roles with Panoramic Resources and Macmahon (ASX:MAH).

CEO Peter Harold says he previously worked with Campbell at Panoramic.

“I worked with Jake when he was manager mining at Panoramic’s highly successful Lanfranchi Nickel Mine and was impressed with his knowledge of underground mining, his team-based approach to underground mining operations, his focus on safety, and his leadership qualities,” Harold says.

“Jake has broadened his skill set and experience and is now ready to take on the general manager operations role.”

Harold says the company remains committed to getting Western Queen into production as soon as possible, with the first major task being dewatering the Western Queen open pit.

Campbell says he is ‘excited’ to join Rumble as the company transitions from explorer to developer.

“The Western Queen Gold and Tungsten Project has huge potential to be a significant gold-producing mine with the potential to add a tungsten revenue stream in the future,” Campbell says.

“I look forward to working with the Rumble team to apply my project development and operating skills to build an efficient, safe, and profitable mining operation at Western Queen.”

The Western Queen Gold and Tungsten Project sits 90km northwest of Mt Magnet within the Yalgoo mineral field of Western Australia, with Rumble holding 100% equity across two contiguous mining leases covering 9.8km².

Rumble Resources is an explorer with a portfolio of multi-commodity projects in WA.
