Nordic Resources Kopsa Gold-Copper Project in Finland

Nordic’s Kopsa run continues with southeast extension

Nordic Resources (ASX:NNL) has reported assays from three step‑out holes at its Kopsa Gold‑Copper Project in Haapajärvi, Finland, confirming mineralised continuity well beyond the existing resource boundary.

The three diamond holes totalling 1,286m were drilled at least 90m beyond the company’s 2025 southeastern drilling, returning extensions to known mineralised lodes between 50m and 100m beyond the current resource block model.

Significant intersections included 10m at 1.02 grams per tonne gold and 0.17% copper from 288m in hole NRKOP26027, and 58m @ 0.61g/t gold and 0.18% copper from 353m in the same hole, including 1.2m @ 2.52g/t gold and 0.77% copper from 382m.

Hole NRKOP26026 returned 29m @ 0.40g/t gold and 0.34% copper from 288m, and 72m @ 0.40g/t gold and 0.10% copper from 337m, including 2.0m @ 3.58g/t gold and 0.28% copper from 337m.

The third hole, NRKOP26028, intersected 69m @ 0.53g/t gold and 0.12% copper from 321m.

All three holes successfully intersected wide zones of ‘significant’ gold‑copper mineralisation continuing beyond the southeastern zone intersections reported in 2025.

The results are the second batch from Nordic Resources’ spring 2026 drill program at Kopsa, located in the Middle Ostrobothnia Gold Belt of central Finland.

The company drilled a further six holes to test strike and depth extensions in the northern and southwestern zones before concluding drilling at the end of May.

Executive Director Robert Wrixon says the results confirm continuity of wide zones of mineralisation to the southeast of Kopsa observed in the 2025 drill program.

“These results should boost both the size of, and the level of confidence in, the upcoming resource update for Kopsa,” Wrixon notes.

The Kopsa deposit currently hosts a JORC‑compliant resource of 23.2 million tonnes @ 1.09g/t gold equivalent for 814,800 ounces gold equivalent.

The overall resource inventory across all three Middle Ostrobothnia Gold Belt projects stands at 34.3 million tonnes @ 1.11g/t gold equivalent for 1.23 million ounces gold equivalent.

Nordic Resources expects all assays from the spring 2026 program, along with results from the Kopsa metallurgical test program, to be available before the end of July 2026.

The company intends to compile all new information into an updated resource statement for Kopsa by the end of the September quarter 2026.

Drilling will recommence in late July, with two rigs booked to the end of 2026. The company remains well‑funded with more than $10 million at bank as at the end of March 2026.
