Nordic Resources Kopsa Gold Copper Project in Finland

Nordic Resources pushes boundaries at Kopsa

Nordic Resources (ASX:NNL) has reported extensive gold-copper mineralisation in three step-out holes drilled 90–160m beyond previous drilling at its Kopsa Project in Finland.

Final holes from the June quarter program returned over 100m of semi-continuous mineralisation each, with continuity to prior drilling. Nordic says the results are likely to affect the ultimate size of the 815,000-ounce gold equivalent deposit.

Key intersections include 34m @ 0.92 grams per tonne gold (Au) and 0.12% copper (Cu) from 231m in hole NRKOP26029, including 2m @ 4.06g/t Au and 4.4m @ 2.46g/t Au with 0.25% Cu from 251m.

The same hole returned 60m @ 0.67g/t Au and 0.20% Cu from 282m, including 4m @ 2.6g/t Au and 0.36% Cu.

NRKOP26031 intersected 29m @ 0.79g/t Au and 0.13% Cu from 261m, including 4.7m @ 3.49g/t Au and 0.23% Cu from 286m. The hole also returned 23m @ 0.93g/t Au and 0.20% Cu from 320m, including 2.9m @ 4.38g/t gold.

NRKOP26032 delivered 44m @ 0.40g/t Au and 0.20% Cu from 208m, and 47m @ 0.66g/t Au and 0.17% Cu from 342m.

“These last three holes from Kopsa were extremely broad step-outs to test the large volume of untested tonalite to the southwest for the first time,” Managing Director Robert Wrixon says.

“Results exceeded expectations as the mineralised zones not only continue but also widen in this direction, with strong continuity both along, and between, the sections.”

The results complete the June quarter 2026 drill program at Kopsa, which totalled 3,660m of diamond drilling.

Nordic’s Kopsa deposit currently hosts a JORC resource of 23.2 million tonnes at 1.09g/t gold equivalent for 814,800 ounces.

Drilling is scheduled to recommence in two weeks, with approximately 14km of diamond drilling planned for the September quarter.

Nordic Resources is a Finnish-focused gold and copper explorer advancing the Kopsa project in the Middle Ostrobothnia Gold Belt.
