Nordic Resources extends Kopsa mineralisation

Nordic Resources (ASX:NNL) reports further mineralised extensions at its Kopsa Gold-Copper Project in Finland, with electromagnetic surveys suggesting depth potential.

The company received assays from three holes totalling 559m of diamond core from its spring 2026 drill program at the northern zone of Kopsa.

All holes were drilled into gaps in the current resource block model and extended the mineralised zone between 30m and 100m beyond the existing resource boundary.

The most significant results came from hole NRKOP25005 extension, which intersected 55m @ 0.47 grams per tonne gold (Au), 0.67g/t gold equivalent (AuEq), and 2g/t silver (Ag) from 291m, including 4.5m @ 2.50g/t Au, 0.70g/t AuEq, and 5g/t Ag from 340m.

Other key intersections include 4.7m @ 0.82g/t Au, 1.00g/t AuEq, and 4g/t Ag from 212m; and 3.2m @ 1.21g/t Au, 1.64g/t AuEq, and 8g/t Ag from 101m.

Managing Director Robert Wrixon says drilling at Kopsa continues to reveal additional mineralisation in the northern zone and along the northern contact of the host intrusion.

“The electromagnetic results provide an indication of potential continuity of the higher-grade zone at depth and this will be tested later this year,” Wrixon says.

To wrap up its spring 2026 campaign, Nordic has completed three step-out holes in the southwest of the AuEq Kopsa deposit, with assays expected shortly.

Results from the metallurgical test program are also expected during Q3 2026, which will be compiled into an updated resource statement.

Drilling is scheduled to recommence in two to three weeks.

The Kopsa deposit currently hosts a resource of 23.2 million tonnes @ 1.09g/t AuEq for 814,80oz AuEq.

The company notes it remains well-funded with over $10 million at bank as at the end of March 2026.
