Nordic Resources (ASX:NNL) is restarting drilling in Finland at the Kopsa and Kiimala Trend gold projects, following on from drilling completed at Kopsa in December 2025.
The company has mobilised a diamond rig to conduct 3,000m worth of drilling across the two projects.
Nordic identified step-out targets from last year’s drilling at the Kopsa Project which will be covered in upcoming drilling ahead of a resource estimate.
Over at the Kiimala Project, Nordic is undergoing its maiden drilling campaign, targeting infill and extension drilling at the Angesneva prospect, infill and step-out drilling at Vesipera, and scout drilling at other untested gold targets.
The Angesneva deposit hosts an indicated resource of 147,000 ounces @ 1.19 grams per tonne gold.
Drilling is expected to be completed in May 2026, in time for the expected return of results from ongoing metallurgical testing campaigns at Kopsa. Both drilling and metallurgical results will be used to form a resource estimate.
Nordic’s gold assets have a combined resource inventory of 34.3 million tonnes @ 1.11g/t gold equivalent for 1.23 million ounces gold equivalent from three deposits.
Nordic Resources is an exploration company focusing on the development of its gold, copper, and nickel deposits spanning Finland.
