Nine Mile Metals (CSE:NINE) has made additions to its management and board teams with the appointment of Jonathan Holmes as President and Jonathan Held as an independent director.
The appointments are in effect as of last Friday (15 May 2026) to support corporate development, investor relations, and capital markets initiatives.
Holmes has served on the board of directors since April 2025 and has worked with more than 200 publicly listed companies in Australia, Canada, and the UK throughout his career.
He specialises in capital markets, corporate development, and investor relations.
Holmes was the founder and director of Reem Capital Corp (TSX-V:REEM), which completed a qualifying transaction with Seegnal (TSX-V:SEGN) in 2025.
He was also the co-founder and Managing Director of Investing News Network (INN) Australia, serving the company from 2021 to 2025, and has spent more than 15 years with the parent company of INN, Dig Media.
Nine Mile CEO Patrick Cruickshank says the company is pleased to welcome Holmes to the executive management team, who is already on the board.
“Jonathan has displayed strong leadership and helped guide us over the past year as a director and supported the team by initiating our corporate branding, marketing, and assisting on our capital markets initiatives,” Cruickshank says.
“Jonathan’s transition to this role will be seamless and highly effective.
“I look forward to working closely with Jonathan as we continue advancing the company’s strategic initiatives.”
Holmes says he is excited to take on the role of President for Nine Mile.
“Having served on the board over the past year, I’ve had the opportunity to work closely with the team and support a number of the company’s corporate development and capital markets initiatives,” Holmes says.
“I look forward to being on site in late May as we commence our next exploration program in the world-class Bathurst Mining Camp, while working more closely with the management team to help lead the company into its next chapter.”
Nine Mile is also welcoming Held to the board of directors, a seasoned financial executive with more than 15 years of experience with public and private companies.
Held is a partner at ALOE Finance and has worked across several sectors, such as natural resources, technology, and biotechnology in domestic and international roles.
He has led numerous public listings through the initial public offering and reverse takeover stages, as well as supporting merger and acquisition transactions.
Held previously acted as the CFO and director of Signature Resources (CVE:SGU), working with the company for more than nine years.
Cruickshank says Held’s “wealth of experience and knowledge of capital markets” will be a valuable addition to Nine Mile with an aggressive exploration program planned for the remainder of the year.
Nine Mile Metals is a Canadian mineral explorer focused on copper, lead, zinc, silver, and gold discoveries in the Bathurst Mining Camp.
