Nexus Minerals (ASX:NXM) has uncovered five regional prospects from its exploration programme at the Wallbrook Gold Project, which are now progressing to resource definition stage.
Aircore drilling at the project covered 295 drill holes for a total of 10,113 metres, and was completed across two of the regional targets, including at the Branches prospect which confirmed extensional growth opportunities to the north and south of the mineralised system. Drilling has also identified the potential for parallel mineralised zones to the east.
Managing Director Andy Tudor says the team has delivered “an exceptional year of progress.”
“These discoveries are the direct result of a disciplined and methodical 18-month program, and they highlight the scale and quality of the emerging gold camp we are uncovering at Wallbrook.
“Importantly, this new growth is emerging in a district already supported by near-term production potential at the Crusader-Templar deposit, with the broader project also situated alongside current gold-producting Northern Star operations.
“This combination of resource expansion and proximity to existing infrastructure presents a compelling strategic advantage. As we move into the next phase of work, Nexus is well positioned to expand these opportunities into long-term value for shareholders.”
Nexus is actively exploring for gold deposits in the Eastern Goldfields, Western Australia, with a highly prospective land package covering 192km2.
